January 2024 Reading Recap

Libby is still my most commonly utilized book source.  However, I've started to work on finishing up the books I had downloaded onto different apps like Apple Books, Google Playbooks, and my Audible app that I no longer subscribe to get new books.  Also, I have plenty of physical books laying around the house.  I was given a few more books in for Christmas, and I haven't finished a physical book in about 8 years....so I thought it was time to bring more of my reading sources into the fold.

Hoopla is a new resource because of my new library card. I've had it a few months, but mostly have only checked out books or videos for my two year old on Hoopla.  It will likely pick up because there are a couple books that I have noticed they have that Libby doesn't have yet.

This new series is partly to help motivate myself to work on finishing book that I have started in different places and not forgetting about them, like I forgot about Hoopla for all of December....

My favorite book in January was Beyond the Wand.  I learned so much about Tom Felton I had no idea about.  It's also wonderful to hear someone be honest about their life and experiences.  No matter how successful a person is, we're all human.  So much of this book just reminded me of our shared humanity and breaking down the stigma of seeking help with our mental health.
