And Tango Makes Three | Board Book Review
And Tango Makes Three is such a cute book to read with Baby Guy. He has a really cute way he says 'penguin,' which is what he says when he wants to read this book. After my husband read this book to him at bedtime the other day, I mentioned to him that this is a banned book in some places. He laughed and said, "I totally forgot that. After reading the book so many times, that just seems so silly." Silly people banning books.
Synopsis
The true story about the penguins named Sily and Roy in the Central Park Zoo in New York City. With the help of a zookeeper, the penguins welcome a baby penguin of their own-Tango.

Likes
- The paper book being made into a board book means it has a lot of words, but it's a nice amount to extend Baby Guy's focus.
- The artwork sometimes tells more of the story.
- The multiple types of families talked about.
Dislikes
- The smallish font size. Since it is a small version of a larger book, it can't necessarily be helped.
Baby Guy Approval
On a scale of 0 to 5 Baby Guy claps, this would probably be 3 Baby Guy Claps! Baby Guy loves it when we're reading it, but doesn't constantly choose it. He sometimes will ask to switch books in the middle of this one. As with other books, his preferences could change.
