April 2024 Reading Recap

April ended up being filled with job interviews and no offers.  It was a bummer of a month, but the books were stress relief.  I did have a harder time focusing on them, so I know most of these books I listed to chapters multiple times because I was just all over the place in my focus.  It was good to get a few off my TBR list that had been on it a while.

My favorite book in April was The Invisible Hour.  This book wasn't what I had expected.  Based on the name, I had thought it would be a narrower time frame.  I also hadn't expected it to contain so many intriguing topics: abuse, relationships, cults, LGBTQIA+, academia, historical fiction, time travel.
